The sole structure of Astorflex shoes

Astorflexin uses a modified 'Stitch out' technique to attach the soles of its shoes, where the leather of the upper part (Tomaia) and the inner lining (Fodera) are separated, the inner lining is turned inward and the upper leather is stitched separately to the bottom of the shoe.

The actual leather welt is more decorative than a functional part in Astorflex shoes.

With this technology, the sole structure of Astorflex shoes offers good insulation and a high-quality structure that is durable and comfortable to use.

Astorflex shoes are made by hand in Northern Italy using high-quality materials and traditional handcraft techniques. Check out our Astorflex selection here
