The Autumn glass series designed by Matti Klenelli continues the exploration of nature and weather phenomena familiar from Marimekko's pattern art. The main theme of the new series is autumn rain and its different forms, from gentle soft drizzle to strong, all-wetting downpours.
A refined, multi-hued and palpable feeling of rain has been created in the glass products as an organic, relief-like surface structure in Klenell's typical sketch-like style.
