The jacquard-woven Onnekas scarf is made from a wool blend. The ends of the scarf have fringes and large Unikko flowers that look like they were painted with watercolors.

Symbolizing creativity and courage, Unikko was born at a time when flowers were not a part of Marimekko's design world. However, Maija Isola was interested in the floral motif and decided to design a whole series of new, strong floral patterns.
