The Gratha Tote is made of nappa leather that will patina beautifully with use. The bag features a quilted Unikko pattern, a short leather carry handle, and a removable and adjustable shoulder strap with a jacquard-woven Unikko pattern. The bag closes with a clip, is lined on the inside, and has one inner pocket with a zipper.

Maija Isola created the Unikko pattern, an international icon of pattern design, in 1964. Marimekko founder Armi Ratia thought that it was not possible to capture the true essence of flowers in a pattern. This is why Marimekko's collections did not previously include flowers. Maija Isola designed the Unikko pattern as an abstract interpretation rather than a photorealistic version of the floral theme. Today, the Unikko is a strong symbol of joy and creativity and an important part of Marimekko's design identity.
