The Loitsu sweater has a relaxed fit and a straight cut. The Intarsia-knitted Unikko pattern sweater has a lively surface and a round neckline with a ribbed trim. The sweater has raglan sleeves with wide ribbed cuffs. The hem has a wide rib.

Symbolising creativity and courage, Unikko was born at a time when flowers were rarely seen in Marimekko’s pattern world. However, Maija Isola was fascinated by floral motifs, and she decided to design an entire series of new, strong floral patterns.
