The off-white Maridenim Marssi denim shorts are made from organic cotton fabric that does not contain elastane. The denim shorts have a classic 5-pocket design, a regular waist and straight legs. The shorts have Marimekko denim buttons and a Marimekko denim badge on the back, which is made from FSC-certified jacron material.

Organic cotton fabric is characterized by a vibrant color and texture. There may be small dark spots in the fabric, and there may be differences between products in this characteristic.

All Marimekko Maridenim products are designed in accordance with the Jeans Redesign guidelines of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, which promotes a circular economy. In accordance with the guidelines, the denim material is made of full cotton (80% organic cotton and 20% recycled cotton) and does not contain elastane. In addition, the products do not use any additional metal parts and the buttons are removable. The washing, finishing and use of chemicals also follow the guidelines, and Marimekko uses laser technology, E-Flow steam cleaning and ozone cleaning to produce the colors, patterns and desired feel of the products.
