The Piccolo-patterned Ruudut denim mini skirt is made from cotton fabric that does not contain elastane. The skirt features a 5-pocket design, a snug fit and a straight cut, button and zip fastening, and belt loops. The skirt has Marimekko denim buttons and a Marimekko denim patch at the back, made from FSC-certified jacron material.

  In her very first year at Marimekko in 1953, Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo, a striped fabric painted with free brushstrokes. Three years later, a shirt made from the fabric called Jokapoika appeared in stores and on the streets – apparently permanently.
