The quilted double bedspread is made of organic cotton. The bedspread is double-sided; one side has the Unikko pattern and the other side is a solid color. The filling of the bedspread is made of recycled polyester.

Symbolizing creativity and courage, Unikko was born at a time when flowers were not a part of Marimekko's design world. However, Maija Isola was interested in the floral motif and decided to design a whole series of new, strong floral patterns.
