The Sanoma hoodie is made of organic cotton jersey and has a straight cut and unisex sizing. The front of the hoodie features a large Wedding Rose flower print. The back of the hoodie features a small Marimekko logo text. The sleeves of the hoodie also feature a Wedding Rose pattern. The hood has drawstrings and the cuffs and hem have wide elastic.

The unique color of the product is achieved through an innovative dyeing technique that creates a worn effect on the material. Each product has its own unique appearance, so slight differences in tone may occur between products.

The Wedding Rose was created at a time when Marimekko's design world did not include flowers. However, Maija Isola was interested in the floral motif, and she decided to design a whole series of new, strong floral patterns. In addition to the Wedding Rose, the series also included Unikko.
