Zip Top Backpack is made of recycled polyester. The spacious backpack closes with a zipper, has one large zipper pocket on the front and open pockets on the sides. There is a large padded pocket for a laptop on the inside. The adjustable shoulder straps have padding. On one side there is a Marimekko key ring and on the front there is a Marimekko brand label. The product has leather details.

Symbolizing creativity and courage, Unikko was born at a time when flowers were not a part of Marimekko's design world. However, Maija Isola was interested in the floral motif and decided to design a whole series of new, strong floral patterns.
