The Jokapoika shirt is made from Öko-tex certified organic cotton and has a very relaxed fit, a straight cut and a Piccolo pattern printed in Helsinki. The shirt has collars, a metal button closure and a chest pocket. The cuffs have metal buttons.

In her very first year as Marimekko, 1953, Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo, a striped fabric painted with free brushstrokes. Three years later, a shirt made from the fabric called Jokapoika appeared in stores and on the street – apparently permanently.
