The Piccolo pattern duvet cover is made from cotton percale with a 200 TC thread count. The top end of the duvet cover has corner openings to make changing sheets easier, the opening has a metal button closure, and the edges of the cover are sewn with a double stitch.

In her very first year at Marimekko in 1953, Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo, a stripe fabric painted with free brushstrokes. Three years later, a shirt made from the fabric, called Jokapoika, appeared in stores and on the streets – apparently permanently.
