The Piccolo patterned duvet cover is made of cotton percale with a thread count of 200 TC. The top of the sheet has corner openings for easy sheet changes, the filling opening has a metal button closure, and the edges of the sheet are double-stitched.

  In her very first year as Marimekko, 1953, Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo, a striped fabric painted with free brushstrokes. Three years later, a shirt made from the fabric called Jokapoika appeared in stores and on the street – apparently permanently.
