The poppy flower-shaped plate is made of ceramic with a light pink glaze. The colored glaze gives the product a vibrant color. We recommend hand washing the plate. Although the product is dishwasher safe, due to its unique shape, it is sensitive to possible dents caused by other dishes.

Symbolizing creativity and courage, Unikko was born at a time when flowers were not a part of Marimekko's design world. However, Maija Isola was interested in the floral motif and decided to design a whole series of new, strong floral patterns.
